How worms virus is spread?

It can really effect your computer. I got a worm virus on my DELL and it wiped my Windows Vista out and my computer won't start up. It attacks the hard drive. Every time you start your PC a "Seek Failure Diskette 0" pops up. So get rid of them if you get a warning for one.
