The enzyme is ATP synthase (sometimes referred to as "ATP synthetase").

It catalyzes the synthesis of ATP from ADP and free inorganic phosphate. It is a remarkable enzyme, part of which spins round. In fact, ATP synthase has been called a molecular machine.
