Area of turkey

Turkey occupies an area of approximately 783,356 square kilometers (302,455 square miles). It is a transcontinental country, with a small portion in southeastern Europe and the larger part in western Asia. The country is bordered by eight nations and surrounded by three different seas: the Aegean, the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea. Its diverse geography includes mountains, plateaus, and coastal regions.
