Is it true that women are presented negatively in society?

It is false to assume that the women are presented negatively in the present society.Probably this century is the best century for women right as a lot of women are occupying prestigious positions in most of the nations from politics to business circles.In arts also women are enjoying much more freedom than ever. In some countries even the women are giving a strong fight to their male counterpart.If in any where they are portrayed negatively it is those women themselves are to be blamed as they portrayed themselves as commodities.
