My 400 watt Clarion APA2001 amp is powering 2 10 inch subs but when i crank the bass i hear a lot of screeching. Is the amp to small?

nope its not.. I had my APA2001 400watt on to 12" clarion pro audio subs that are 700watts each.. That amp was great Drove those 700's hard! But i wanted more power so now i have a Alpine MRP-M1000 but.
