What is the difference between revelation and illumination?

Proverbs 1:7 teaches that the beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord. Then once we have knowledge, we know the facts. Wisdom comes when know how to apply those facts to our lives with sound judgement. Our ultimate goal have revelation which can only be given by God.
