Why do people sell cars?

There's a lot of reasons why people sell their cars. #1 reason I think is in need of money, the second one I think is just want to buy a newer model so they are selling their cars. Just like in the site where I bought my used car, I've asked some sellers there why are they selling their cars, mostly answered me. They just one to buy new models.
