How can you bypass your big screens bad tuner by using a VCR am confused by so many in out av ac cables?

This only applies assuming that this is a cable/antenna tuner not a HD or digital signal .

What you'll need to do is find a free input on your tv such as input 1 , 2 , 3 etc . Connect the vcr to the free input using the ouput on the vcr .
Then you will hook up your cable/antenna hookup into your vcr's INPUT or LINE IN whatever they call it . Turn on vcr and tv . Be sure to put tv on proper input which would be what ever free input you decided on for the vcr . Then you'll need to turn your vcr to the tuner input . Sometimes you have to press the input button to get there . From that point you will use the vcr remote to change channels .
