Are firefighters tough and brave

Absolutely! They are not only tough and brave--they are true heros that risk their lives to not only save people but a lot of time their pets from fire. Mt Dad was one of the bravest-toughest heros I ever knew--He was a paid & a volunteer fire fighter for most of his life. He was also a boss in charge of the fire/rescue dept at the large chemical company where he worked & an expert in HAZMAT. After his passing the company named a street within the plant after him.
