When you respond to something, you have time to consider the implications of any given situation. This time span may be a matter of seconds or even a few days. The important thing is that you can decide how to act and can reflect on any possible consequences of your action and the implications of that act upon others. Reaction is an emotional instant response to a situation - often unexpected

  • with little or no regard as to any consequences of your own

actions on yourself or other people. It is a behavioural, often emotional response given without logical thought.
