Viseu, Portugal, population 99,593, is the largest city in Europe without a railway station.

Other contenders are Łomża in Poland, population 63,036 and Herten in Germany, population 61,634.

Corby in the UK, population 61,600, is listed in some references, Corby has a had new station since 2009.


Nicosia in Cyprus, population of 310,355 and Reykjavík in Iceland, population 119,108 both have no stations. But there are no railways in Cyprus or Iceland.
