Are Scarab Beatles carnivorous

Well, if you watch The Mummy, in shows them eating people, but is that really true? Hmm... Nope! They eat dung (in other Words cow/elephant poo!) But remember, anything you see in movies is usually untrue and can sometimes be very misleading!!!
