BBC Bangla, in a poll, put together a user list of the top five songs, along with a list of 20 songs of their own choosing, Some of these songe include "Manush Manush er Jonne" (Vupen Hazarika), "Amar Shonar Bangla" (Rabindra Thakur), "Coffee HOuse er Shei Adda ta aaj aar nei" (Manna De), and "Amar Cal er Rokte Rangano Ekushe February" (Abdul Gaffar Chowdhuri).
