Web designers can work anywhere. As long as there is a computer and someone that has paid you to do a job for them, you can be anywhere. You could set up a website in one country and then set up another in Another Country.

Also, if you have a web design knowledge, you can create web templates and sell them online. It is very profitable work at home job.
