The industrial revolution had a tremendous effect on the history of the world. New inventions allowed factories produce products that once were only available from the hands of craftsmen. Industrialization produced more products then ever before and produced them at lightening speed compared to previous times. The industrial revolution began in the 17th century and progressed from there, to change the economies of the world.
