Should religious people accept contraception

Although this is phrased as a single question, there are actually two questions at play.

Should religious people accept the use of contraception by others? The answer to this must be an unequivocal yes. Other people have the absolute right to manage their fertility as they see fit. This absolute right applies regardless of their marital status.

Should religious people use contraception? Here there is no right or wrong answer. Each person must decide in good conscience whether they see anything inherently wrong in the use of contraceptives. Even if the decision is that there might be something inherently wrong in the use of contraceptives, he or she must also decide in good conscience whether a greater wrong is to risk having more children than can be supported in the circumstances.
