Where is the number one cylinder on the 5.9 L Dodge engine?

While facing the engine from the front of the vehicle, #1 cylinder will be the first cylinder toward the radiator on the right-hand side of the engine.

The rest of the cylinders on the right side of the engine, viewing to the rear will be odd numbers: #3, #5, and #7.

On the left-hand side of the engine will be #2 cylinder toward the radiator followed by #4, #6, and #8.

Even number cylinders on the left and odd numbers on the right.

Firing order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
