How do you remove fingernail polish from a cloth car seat?

Acetone would be the only thing that comes to mind try a test path somewhere to make sure it doesn't damage the cloth or colour. Acetone is highly flammable and the fumes are harmful so keep the doors open and don't smoke while you are mucking around with it.
