Are wolves faster than grey hounds?

In my opinion, greyhounds are faster. Wolves do have speed behind them but, they prefer to keep it concealed until it is needed. Wolves are designed to go over long distances without tiring. A fast trot or lope is what they like. A mad dash is used only when they are sprinting at the last second to get their prey. Greyhounds are a type of hunting dog. They do not have the same features as a wolf because they were bred specifically to hunt and chase prey for people. Kind of the same but also completely different.
