1 mol of something is 6.022E23 of that thing. (E is 10x, like scientific notation, so 6.022 * 10^23)

Think like how a dozen is 12 or a couple is 2, a mol is just a Word used to describe a very, very large number of things (i.e. atoms in a handful of table salt).
