How do you insert a sim card to toshiba satellite l500?

Open the Battery, The SIM card slot of your notebook is located in the battery bay.

1. Turn off your notebook
2. Remove the battery pack
3. Insert the SIM card with its printed circuit side down in the notebook's SIM card slot
4. Reinstall the battery pack and make sure it is properly connected and locked.
5. Ensure the WIRELESS switch is set to ON. (If you cannot locate the WIRELESS switch on your notebook, please check the user guide supplied with your laptop model.)
6. Ensure that the battery is properly installed in your notebook. WWAN will not work if the battery is not (correctly) installed.
