What does ensuing year mean?

ensuing year means the year which would follow the current year.

in relation to budgeting it means the financial year witch would follow the current financial year. for instance, if today is 29 July 2010 and we talk of the ensuing year, it would mean the financial year which would start from 1st of April 2011 and which would end on 31st march 2011.
