They don't say anything. Watch some carrier take-offs on YouTube with a copy of this. The deck hands, VIA hand signals tell the pilot to move forward SLOWLY. Once in possition they hook the launch bar on the front gear to the catapult. Then the deck hands move out of the way. Pilot salutes when ready. Then the pilot goes to full power. Three seconds and the plane is off.
