What is Waters view in x-ray?

The Water's view in radiography is primarily used in the diagnosis of sinusitis and for the evaluation of the faciomaxillary bones. The patient is positioned supine with their head extended such that the orbito-meatal line is perpendicular to the mid-sagittal plane.
