What does tata mean in spanish?

the name Tata actually came from my brother when he was a baby he didn't know how to say "papa" so he said "Tata" the name stuck after a while and now 14 years later my brother is 15 and we still call him Tata, even friends that come over call him Tata so i guess that's his new name rather than what it already is.
