Why do people kidnap and kill children?

Because they are mentally disturbed with a few loose wires in their heads.

Paedophiles (an example of a mentally disturbed criminal) may murder their victims so they won't report the crime.

Some people kidnap children for ransom. Then kill them if their plan goes wrong.
