Why are high-heels shoes banned from certain types of floor?

It is because the heels n high-heeled shoes have a small surface area.

That small surface area can get stuck in certain type of floor like mud because the heels will sink in the mud.

You would need flat shoes that have a large surface area to go on floors that are not capable of hold shoes like high-heels.
