1) It is too hot and breathes poorly in the summer.

2) It insulates poorly and does not block wind so it is cold in the winter.

3) It absorbs water readily, and is uncomfortable/causes unbearable chaffing when wet.

4) It is heavy and bulky to pack.

5) It is thick and difficult to sew, and seams end up stiff and uncomfortable.
