How do you get a kid to stop being naughty?

You strongly explain to the child that what they are doing is wrong and why. If they keep continuing to do the thing that is wrong, give them a punishment that is quite small, such as no watching their favourite show on TV for that night. If they keep on being naughty give them a stronger punishment like they can't go over to their friends that night. how ever many times they keep doing this make the punishments a little bigger each time. They will finally realise that they should stop doing this.
