The Queen's representative in Canada is called the Governor General. The Governor General's responsibilities are almost entirely ceremonial, as any actual power has been stripped away over the years. They technically have the power to call elections and are the Head of State and commander-in-chief, but all of these powers and positions are now subject to the will of elected officials.
