Well, there are three questions to ask of you here..
- Does the vehicle has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating in excess of 26,000 lbs.?
- Is the vehicle, at any weight rating, transporting a quantity of hazardous materials which requires placards to be displayed?
- Is the vehicle, at any weight rating, a bus designed to transport more than 15 persons (including the driver)?
If the answer to all three is "no", then not a thing. Air brakes do not require a CDL.
