Are attitudes towards time culture specific?

Attitudes toward time can be culture specific, however in the work place there are certainly other factors that shape attitude such as the individual and company's work ethic, company expectations, and whether and how strong the employee's manager holds the employee accountable for, i.e. being on time and managing their time efficiently.
