What is the meaning of your heart is in the right place?

It means, that you may have done something that didn't quite turn out the way you wanted, but your meant well by doing it, you were trying to do the right thing, it wasn't mean or evil. It just didn't quite turn out how you wanted.

Or, you have a few faults in your personality, but generally you are a good kind hearted person that doesn't mean to hurt anyone, it just happens sometimes.

eg: you might go and wash the car for mum and dad, and while you are inside cleaning it, you knock the handbrake off, and the car backs down the driveway and into your neighbors cars by mistake.

you didn't mean to do it, it was an accident because you were doing something nice like cleaning mum and dads car.

so your heart was in the right place, but the outcome was a bit of a disaster for your neighbor and mum and dad.
