RC: Road Racing four stroke engine.
NS and NSR: Two stroke engine.
V: An engine with the V-design, two or four cylinders.
VF: A V four cylinder engine.
VT: A V two cylinder engine.
CB: City Bike.
CBR: Cafe Racer.
S: Sports bike.
GL: Gold Wing.
CV: Constant Vacuum carburetors.
CR: Off Road.
XR: Dirt bike or Motocross bike.
XL: Street Legal dual-sport bike.
VLX: Luxury Cruiser.
VTX: V-Twin Extreme.
ST: Sports Touring.
VTX1800R: V-Twin Extreme 1800 cc R (retro) bike. In this line of bikes, the last initials further mean: S for Classic, F for Sports Cruiser and C for performance.
