Sunday = Sun's day

Monday = Moon's day

Tuesday = Tyr's day (Norse God of War)

Wednesday = Woden's day (Norse king of the gods)

Thursday = Thor's day (Norse god of thunder)

Friday = Freya's day (Norse goddess of beauty) or Frig's day (wife of Woden/Odin)

Saturday = Saturn's day (Roman god of harvest and time)
