How is the maintenance interval reminder reset on 2008 VW Jetta SE 2.5?

So far I havent discovered a built in way (Non in owners or shop manual!). You can do it with a factory VAS scantool, or with a VAG COM tool that will run from any PC and should be fairly easy to find in most cities (Alot of shops have them because they are so effective and so affoirdable compared to most tools) So far I havent discovered a built in way (Non in owners or shop manual!).
