Does GTA 5 online require playstation plus?

You need an active PS+ subscription to play online on a PS4. You do not need PS+ to play online on a PS3 or a PSVita, but some titles have an 'online pass' - it comes with retail editions and is sold seperately on digital versions. You need this pass to play online.
