Our dogs have dry skin, too. It's pretty common because dogs cannot tolerate the commercial soaps that we tend to use on them. You can buy a "dog friendly" moisturizing liquid soap in the pet store, but they all contain SLS or SLES. Start using a handmade and/or homemade goat milk soap with as few unnecessary ingredients as possible, ie, oatmeal and honey or a plain soap bar. Stay away from fragrance oils. Use a humidifier if you have one, winter is killer on your skin just like it is on your dog's. Just don't pay over $1 per oz for your goat milk soap. We use the doggie soap and the larger people soap. I am an avid user of this stuff, my dogs, kids and my husband love it. We even have all our friends and relatives using it now. They don't buy it from me b/c they HAVE to... they buy it b/c they LOVE IT. Try it for one month (1 bar will last that long) in the tub or sink... you'll see the difference right away. But give it a month. free dry skin articles: http://www.neeneessoapshop.com/beautyfreestuff.html our free articles on articlesbase.com: http://www.articlesbase.com/authors/renee-vailes/86576.htm At $1.80 per bar, it's a steal! hope this advice helps!
