I assume you mean the singer also known as Selena Quintanilla. ( lit, Selena the fifth) It happened in or around Corpus Christi, Texas. I don"t think Mr. Jackson was in the vicinity. They were totally different styles of music- it is not like, say an Opera singer singing at the funeral of another Soprano, as was the case with Lily Pons at one of the mortuary rites of Grace Moore.
