  • Texas celebrates Christmas by gathering together as a group,(family) and doing many different things. People are always saying that you are suppose to give and not receive. That is the traditional thing that many Texans do. Many Texans gather together on Christmas Eve to open the presents that they are given from church members or family members. The day they receive the present they are given a choice to share the present or keep it to themselves for the day. As soon as it becomes dark families set the table and eat the traditional dinner the family has set for each other. On Christmas day Santa Claus has brought all of the children presents and the children always play with the toys.
