What was building 7 used for?

Building 7, also known as World Trade Center 7 (WTC 7), was a 47-story office building that housed various tenants, including government agencies, financial institutions, and law firms. It served as a hub for businesses and organizations, including the Secret Service and the IRS. The building was not directly struck by an airplane during the September 11 attacks but collapsed later that day due to fires ignited by debris from the nearby Twin Towers.
