How do you know if a guy likes you when he is quiet or hates you?

you need to talk to him. how will you know if you don't talk to him? If he blushes when you talk or is looking shy, that's a good sign, it means he likes you. If he laughs while looking at you, then walk away, I'm afraid he dosent like you.

Well nobody exactly knows for sure what is going on when a guy is quiet, it's completely possible he thinks of someone else and if he hates you he must have a reason to. If you were nice to him when you first met that would probably leave a good impression.
