Is 44 years old to old to become a dental assistant?

I don't think is too old. My dentist and her assistant are both really old. Not that 44's old, they're older than 44. It is never too late to get training to do something you would rather be working at. Only thing is, make sure the student loans do not exceed what you can manage to pay per month.
