AFAIK, this means the tablet is a generic one, i.e. not produced under a brand name, usually because the patent for the original drug has expired.

It is still the same, active ingredient as a brand name one, but is usually MUCH cheaper than a brand name.

For example,

Panadol compared to paracetamol (acetominophen) BP.
