Where do dental hygienists work?

Dental Hygiene is one of those career fields where you can basically make your own schedule. Some work full-time (40 hrs per week) while others work on a part-time bases. They may work for one Dentist or Dental Group, or they may choose to work for a number of Dentists or Dental Groups. It's very beneficial for many women (although there are men in the field) who have children and need a schedule to meet the demands and responsibilities of parenthood.
