If you have to ask, take it to a mechanic.
I'd recommend going to your local AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts, anywhere that sells automotive parts, and get yourself either a Haynes or Chilton's repair manual. They both cover an entire teardown and rebuild of you engine. Make sure you buy the one that covers your make and model though.
i have to agree with statement above, however chiltons is the way 2 go but u wont find them at advance or autozone....... only place to get it is online but there a better step by step book if u have no clue to what ur doing
