It can very well be made into a synonym, but first you have to compare it to another Word. For example, it could be considered a synonym to the Words 'reconstruct' or 'reorient' because they have similar meanings to it. However, it could be considered an antonym for the Words 'persist' or 'continue', because they have opposite meanings to it.
