If a guy gives you his friend's number and not his does that mean he is only willing to call when he wants to hook up?

<P>He is concerned that by calling him directly that makes a direct link between the two of you. It would appear on the surface he is attempting to conceal your existence or contain\limit your access to him directly.

<P>e.g. In the case of cell phones your number would be on the bill and\or caller id.

<P>I do not understand the whole "hook up" part (sex, dating, trips, be specific next time) but you are correct, this behavior does seem suspect.</P>
