What are some environmental concerns about the world?

The most major problems are pollution and global warming. Currently, our Earth is becoming more and more polluted. The rivers and seas are contaminated by our waste produced from factories, soil erosion, landfills etc. The greenery is slowly being lost. The air is sometimes foggy, filled with toxic gases and others. Due to the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases being given out by us because of advancement in technology, the planet is gradually heating up, causing global warming. This will eventually lead to polar caps melting, depletion of species, sinking of islands and cities, flooding and many more undesirable consequences.
