Legend of the monkeys paw

The legend of theMonkey's Paw states that it is a cursed paw of a dead monkey and whomever finds it is granted three wishes. But, in order to teach people not to interfere with fate, it twists around the wishes in a way that only causes it's finder(s) pain and sorrow.
